Availability & Shipping Information
As we are a small mom & pop retail store in a small mountain town, it is difficult for us to stock all the products we offer on our webstore. Our webstore provides a great platform to showcase the goods that we have available to our local market, as well as any individual shopping for a quality product at a modest and competitive price.
Most furniture items will ship from our suppliers' warehousing points around the country. If it is an item that we have in the store, we will ship it immediately to you. We do our best to get these items out, and to our customers as quickly as possible. In the case we do not have the item in the store, you will see your furniture order in 2-6 weeks. We will keep you updated throughout the process and let you know what is happening along the way. If the item you ordered happens to be backordered with our supplier, we will immediately notify you with an update as to the expected timeframe for your order.
We do our best to keep our glasswares, talavera and smaller hand-made items in stock. In the event that it is not in stock, there is a good chance that it is already on order with our artisans in Mexico. These orders too, will typically arrive within 2-6 weeks.
Artesanos offers an array of fully custom pieces, from Forest Canopy Beds that are built and hand hammered to order, copper top tables and mirrors, and bathroom vanities to your specifications. The smaller items such as table tops and mirrors can be finished and delivered within the same 2-6 week timeframe. The larger items and fully custom vanities can take a bit longer. These usually ship within 4-8 weeks.

Non-Furniture & Smaller Items -
Shipping prices for our smaller items (under 75 lbs.) will be quoted at the time of checkout via. UPS. To calculate your shipping charges, simply add the items of interest to the shopping cart and add the shipping zip code. You are under no obligation to purchase items added to your cart.
Free Shipping Option -
Our “Free Shipping” option is available for any order of $100 or more, and travelling to the contiguous United States (Lower 48 & Washington D.C.). It will cover delivery to your curbside or driveway only. In some cases you will be required to help offload it from the truck. It will not include service inside your home or building, delivery before or after regular working hours, or delivery on weekends. So, if you don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty, or have extra help around to move your order, it is an excellent option to save on your order. (We have found that most other online furniture retailers will charge up to $450 for shipping of larger furniture items.) We send you tracking information as soon as your shipment leaves our location, and most freight companies call to schedule an appointment, so it is easier to ensure that you have help around when the delivery arrives.
Furniture items that do not qualify for “Free Shipping”, and are too large to ship via. UPS Ground will have a $175 oversize shipping charge, and ship via. motor freight. This is the same service as our Free Shipping option.
White Glove Delivery Service -
This service will get your item/s into your home, unpackaged, assembled (if necessary), and all trash/packaging removed for you. With the “White Glove” service, it is much easier to work around your schedule, and makes the delivery of larger and heavy items a breeze. We can arrange a delivery that is suited to your needs in this case. Your item will ship directly to a local freight terminal, where we will have a local and reputable moving company retrieve the piece and bring it to your home for you. We take care of the leg-work, keep you informed during the process, and you just have to sit back and receive your order. Please call us with any questions you may have regarding our "White Glove" delivery service.
How we Ship
Non-Furniture & Smaller Items -
Most of our smaller items (under 75 lbs.) will ship via. UPS from Durango, CO. All items that are in stock will ship within 48 hours, and most areas of the U.S. are serviced within one week of the ship date via. UPS Ground. There are a variety of other UPS shipping options if you need your item to arrive more quickly. Prices for UPS shipping will automatically be quoted at the time you place your order.
Furniture Orders -
Small Items: Smaller furniture and decor items such as end tables, nightstands, copper mirrors and the like, if ordered alone, will most likely ship via. UPS Ground. If these items are ordered in conjunction with larger furniture items, they will ship out with the larger items on a pallet (unless requested otherwise). It is typically safer for these smaller items to ship with the larger items on a pallet. Shipping on a pallet offers an extra level of protection for items.
Large Items: Larger furnishings and case goods will ship via. motor freight from warehousing points across the country, or directly from our store. Depending upon your location, your motor freight order will arrive within 4-7 business days from the time of departure.
